You were lucky with the weather and light. Excellent shot. When we were there, this square gave a completely different impression, unkempt. Bologna is not easy to photograph, it will be interesting to see your "catch."

Petr Prokhorov, We were indeed lucky with the weather. We were expecting rain and snow, but it wasn't anything like that – sunny and windless. Due to the temperature difference between day and night, there was a light fog in the morning and evening. Thank you, keep checking back and I'll be posting photos of Bologna – the city has charmed me

Svetlana Shapiro, it's already spring there in February (we lived near Milan). I didn't like Bologna at first. But now Florence is #1, Bologna #2, and Verona #3. Bologna is gradually opening up. * By the way, there was a perfume shop there with the cheeky name Jean-Baptiste Grenouille. In large neon blue letters. But we really liked the owner and the selection.
A wonderful, wonderful photo and story! This photo is so different from typical "tourist photos" with its incredibly beautiful light, unique angle, and excellent work by the photographer. Bravo!!!

Petr Prokhorov, On this trip from Bologna we went to Florence (I was there almost 20 years ago). The first thing that struck me was the insane number of kiosks and retail outlets in historical places (Bologna doesn't have that). We're looking through the peephole in our camera

Elena Demidova, Thank you, Elena, for the great review. To climb the tower, you need to book a time slot in advance (by the way, you sign at the bottom that they won't be responsible for you :)), so I specifically chose a time closer to sunset.
