While browsing, my gaze lingered on your photo. And after reading the description of the shoot and post-processing, I want to express my gratitude for such work. A very interesting, warm composition. I actually most often do post-processing in ACDSee, as I prefer its capabilities over Photoshop. Of course, Photoshop is more "professional," but ACDSee does many things just as well. Well, that's just me thinking out loud. Thank you again! Definitely recommended!

Viktor Fox, Thank you for your heartfelt review and recommendation – very nice!
The warmth of the shot truly comes from the golden hour: the soft light then falls so perfectly that even an ordinary birch grove looks special. Considering that the light was already teetering on the edge of twilight, I took a tripod with me – 1/60th of a second could easily ruin the shot when shooting handheld. That's why I was able to preserve both the softness and the texture. Then I tried not to overdo the image, but to preserve the mood—hence the character of the photo.
I'm glad you shared about ACDSee—everyone has their own work rhythm and favorite tools. I'm glad the work resonated!

A very poetic, warm, and harmonious work that perfectly conveys the peace and quiet of an autumn forest.
The sky in the background appears slightly faded. You could try bringing out the cloud texture a bit or enhancing the blue in the photo editor to emphasize the contrast with the yellow foliage (blue and yellow are complementary colors that enhance each other).

Dmitry Shishkov,
A very poetic, warm, and harmonious work that perfectly conveys the silence and peace of an autumn forest.
The sky in the background appears slightly faded. You could try bringing out the texture of the clouds a bit or enhancing the blue in the editor to emphasize the contrast with the yellow foliage (blue and yellow are complementary colors that enhance each other).
The softness of the sky and clouds is an important part of the tranquil atmosphere. Adding texture to the sky, especially making it blue, will disrupt the smoothness of the image. Texture is needed on the "ground," i.e., on solid objects, but not in the sky. Furthermore, the current tonality of the sky organically connects the foreground with the background and doesn't draw attention away from the main theme—the golden birch grove.
