I was there last summer in early July. The sun was shining brightly, the water was emerald green, and boats were racing back and forth across the lake... This time it's incredible! Even the banks haven't thawed... But this lake is beautiful in any weather. A very beautiful photo! Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Vera Ketova, I didn't notice any boats. They were probably waiting somewhere under the snow for spring to arrive. You were luckier. Thank you so much for your attention and response!

Vera Ketova, you're getting a little tiresome with your constant stories of your own travels under other people's photos... Who cares where you've been or are planning to go? This isn't a travel club. IMHO, it seems pushy and impolite. Comment on the author's photo, tone it down. I apologize in advance for my lack of restraint, bluntness, and lack of diplomacy.

Zan Zanzib, You're not the author of the photos I'm commenting under. I haven't written a single word to you. So keep your conclusions to yourself. Why read other people's comments if you don't like them? You've been playing the game of "I want it or I don't want it." And don't bother me anymore.

Vera Ketova, I didn't expect any other reaction from you.

Zan Zanzib, You could at least apologize to the author for giving valuable instructions to his work about who should write what.

Vera Ketova, Indeed, there's a lot of emotion and not enough quality analysis of the photos. It's a photography resource, after all.
To see such beauty at dawn, and at such an altitude...! Wonderful, Alexander!
Tamara Mar, friends, you really need a travel thread. As for the photography, there are some significant shortcomings. The photographer hangs in the air, as if from a helicopter, the cliffs are inconspicuous to me, and the fog is a mess. Of course, perhaps a better situation couldn't have been expected, I understand that. But the photo is still average.

Vyacheslav Pozniy, Thank you, Vyacheslav, for your comment! Finally, some reasoned criticism! I agree that the cliffs in the haze and wet snowfall lack contrast, and the fog lacks texture (and what can you expect from fog?). I agree that the photographer is suspended in mid-air—this is evident from the EXIF, since it was shot with a drone. I really didn't expect a better situation, but captured what I saw: a gloomy, cold, very inhospitable place. And I tried to convey its atmosphere—the back of the postcard that Vera described. So, everything is correct, and the judgment is, of course, yours.

Zan Zanzib, You've described your tone perfectly. I can only add that I'm upset by such unmotivated aggression.

Alex Mimo, I'm not being aggressive. I wrote what I felt, it was long overdue. I understand it's unpleasant, so I wrote it right away along with an apology. I'm sorry it came out under your photo.
