Was this taken through glass or was the layer with the drops applied in Photoshop? I like it.

Donna, Definitely glass. Photoshop doesn't do that.
Alexandr Popov, Well, I just haven't tried layering in Photoshop like that, that's why I asked. But I also try to shoot similar still lifes through glass.

Donna, Yes, I shoot these kinds of still lifes through glass – the process itself is interesting, and each shot is different, so you can choose the most interesting one. I used to ask my family or friends to hold the glass, but every time I have to persuade them, and it takes a really long time...))) And now they made me a small device, and the process has become easier...)

Olga Dan, You're welcome. My interest is selfish; I want a still life too, but it's just not working out. I tried photographing vodka and a piece of lard—I drank it and ate it before I could take a proper photo. It just wasn't meant to be. So I'm walking around envious.
Alexandr Popov, I understand you perfectly, Alexander...) It happens to me that I spend a whole hour collecting still lifes, and then I turn away for a minute and half the goodies are already gone... and no one will admit who stole them—they blame it all on the cat...))) And after the still life is photographed, everything disappears in the blink of an eye and even I have nothing left...((Friends are always asking when the next still life will be shot...))) I'm gradually moving on to inedible and non-figurative still lifes...))

I remembered shooting a still life with a bottle of wine. The less wine was left in the bottle, the more I liked the results. The next day, when I looked at it sober, I deleted all the shots.
